Patch 32.0.3 introduces balance changes for constructed Hearthstone and Battlegrounds, along with Arena draft adjustments and several bug fixes.

Hearthstone Balance Changes

The constructed update targets several frustrating play patterns and early power outliers following the launch of Into the Emerald Dream. The patch includes both nerfs and buffs.

Hideous Husk (Nerfed)

  • Old: Your Leeches steal 2 more Health from their victims. Battlecry: Summon two 0 Attack / 2 Health Leeches.
  • New: Your Leeches steal 1 more Health from their victims. Battlecry: Summon two 0 Attack / 2 Health Leeches.

Full Dust Refunds

The disenchantable cards listed above are eligible for full dust refunds for two weeks after Patch 32.0.3. Signature Gorgonzormu is also included because of a corrected refund bug.

Resplendent Dreamweaver (Adjusted)

  • Old: 5 Attack / 4 Health. Battlecry: If you’ve Imbued your Hero Power twice, deal 5 damage to a minion.
  • New: 4 Attack / 4 Health. Lifesteal. Battlecry: If you’ve Imbued your Hero Power twice, deal 4 damage to a minion.

Battlegrounds Updates

This is expected to be the final major Battlegrounds balance update before the next season. The minion changes generally reduce the strength of Demons and Naga while supporting Dragons and Mechs.

Anomaly Pool Changes

  • Prudence of Amitus has been removed from the Anomaly Pool.
  • Secrets of Norgannon and Cosmic Duality now appear less frequently.
  • Guff Runetotem is banned from the Secrets of Norgannon Anomaly.
  • Pyramad is banned from Match Fixing, Golden Friendship, Emergency Landing, and Pooled Resources.
  • Saloon’s Finest, a Tier 5 Tavern Spell, is banned from Golganneth’s Tempest.
  • Lord Jaraxxus, Overlord Saurfang, The Jailer, Professor Putricide, Ragnaros, Tavish Stormpike, Cariel Roame, Sindragosa, Millificent Manastorm, Vanndar Stormpike, Rokara, and Sylvanas Windrunner can no longer appear as the second Hero Power option during Cosmic Duality.

Anomalous Evidence (Nerfed)

  • Old: At the start of your turn, choose from 2 new Quest Rewards.
  • New: At the start of your turn, choose from 2 new Quest Rewards. Unlocks on turn 4.

  • Text-only update.

Stitched Salvager (Nerfed)

  • Old: 20 Attack / 4 Health. Start of Combat: Destroy the minion to the left of this. Deathrattle: Resummon an exact copy of it.
  • New: 16 Attack / 4 Health. Start of Combat: Destroy the minion to the left. Deathrattle: Summon an exact copy of it. Except Stitched Salvager.

Arena Updates

The following cards now appear less frequently in Arena drafts:

  • Spirit Gatherer
  • Aspect’s Embrace
  • Fleeing Treant in Mage, Priest, and Shaman drafts
  • Rite of Atrocity

Bug Fixes and Game Improvements

  • Hearthstone: Shaladrassil is no longer activated when an opponent plays cards that cost more than it.
  • Hearthstone: The dragon in the Horrible Egg created by Clutch of Corruption no longer changes when the source dragon is transformed.
  • Hearthstone: Doomkin’s stats are now correctly reverted when its effect is reverted.
  • Hearthstone: Merry Moonkin’s text and effect have been updated so it gains all Armor at once rather than through multiple activations.
  • Hearthstone: Corrected a visual issue with Shaladrassil’s history tile.
  • Collection: Signature Nightmare Lord Xavius can now be disenchanted.
  • Collection: Corrected the dust value for Signature Gorgonzormu while it is eligible for a full refund. Because its value was incorrect during the previous refund window, it has been added to the Patch 32.0.3 refund period.
