Patch 32.4.2 — Overview
Release Date: 06/12/2025
Patch 32.4.2 includes a new Legendary Quest Chain for The Lost City of Un’Goro launch, balance changes for Standard and Wild, mid‑season Battlegrounds updates (including the return of selected Anomalies and three new Anomalies that interact with Trinkets), and a set of bug fixes.
New Legendary Quest Chain
Play Standard games between the launch of Patch 32.4.2 and July 8 to earn rewards: up to 3 The Lost City of Un’Goro packs, 1 Golden The Lost City of Un’Goro pack, and 1 Into the Emerald Dream pack.
Hearthstone (Standard & Wild) Updates
Developer note: These changes aim to slow some of the more extreme burst turns in Standard as we approach The Lost City of Un’Goro. In Wild, Draka decks remain problematic after previous changes, so we’ve added a firm cap on her power.
Twisted Webweaver (Nerfed)
Old: [1 mana] 1 Attack / 3 Health.
New: [2 mana] 2 Attack / 3 Health.
Crystal Cove (Nerfed)
Old: Sets stats to 5 Attack / 5 Health.
New: Sets stats to 4 Attack / 4 Health.

Divine Brew (Nerfed)
Old: Give a character Divine Shield. If it already has one, give it +1 Attack this turn.
New: Give a character Divine Shield.
Necrolord Draka (Nerfed)
Old: Battlecry: Equip a 1 Attack / 3 Health Dagger. (+1 Attack for each other card you played this turn!)
New: Battlecry: Equip a 1 Attack / 3 Health Dagger. (+1 Attack for each other card you played this turn, up to 10!)
The craftable cards listed above are eligible for a full Arcane Dust refund for two weeks after Patch 32.4.2.
Battlegrounds Updates
Developer note: This mid‑season update adds both Trinkets and a curated set of returning Anomalies, plus three new Anomalies that change how Trinkets appear. Some highly disruptive Anomalies have been omitted.
Returning Anomalies
- Audience's Choice
- At the start of each turn, one player chooses a card for ALL players to receive at the end of the turn.
- Bring Home the Bacon
- Start with two upgrading “Piggy Banks”. Break them open to gain Gold.
- Double Header
- The first time you buy a card each turn, get an extra copy of it.
- Eleventh Hour
- The first time your hero would take fatal damage in combat, prevent it and gain 11 Gold next turn instead.
- Elven Elite
- The Tavern only offers cards of your current Tier.
- Bob-blehead and Innkeeper’s Stein are banned from this Anomaly.
- Factory Line
- Every 2 turns, get a plain copy of your left-most minion. (2 turns left!)
- False Idols
- Only 2 copies are needed to make a minion Golden. Instead of a Triple Reward, get a Gold Coin.
- Pilfered Lamps, Designer Eyepatch, and First Mate Pip are banned from this Anomaly.
- Golden Arrow
- Every 3 turns, get a Golden Arrow.
- Golganneth's Tempest
- Minions cost 2 Gold. You cannot Refresh the Tavern manually; it Refreshes itself after you buy a card.
- Innkeeper's Stein, Dalaran Cheese Wheel, Guiding Candle, Recycling Sticker, Lubber Sticker, Slippery Slider and Bounding Felstalker are banned.
- Grapnel of the Titans
- The first minion you buy each turn is free.
- Instant Warband
- Start with 3 different Tier 2 minions in hand.
- Marin's Treasure Box
- Trinkets are in this game. All heroes are Marin the Manager.
- Mimiron's Clockwork Stadium
- You cannot upgrade the Tavern with Gold. It upgrades itself every 2 turns. (2 turns left!)
- Bartend-o-Tron's Oilcan and Investment Contract are banned from this Anomaly.
- No Face, No Case
- Every 4 turns, get a Faceless Manipulator.
- Overseer's Orb
- After you upgrade the Tavern, Refresh it with minions of your most common type.
- Path of the Treasure-Seeker
- After you Refresh 5 times, find the Golden Monkey! (5 left!)
- Perfected Alchemy
- Start with a Goldenizer.
- Scout's Honor
- Start with a Golden Patient Scout in play.
- Secrets of Norgannon
- Tavern Tier 7 exists. Start with 10 extra Armor.
- Treasure Hoard (turns 5, 7, and 8)
- On Turns 5, 7, and 8, Discover a Golden Tier 3/5/6 minion respectively.
- Finicky Hourglass
- Start at Tavern Tier 2.

- Greater Pouches
- On Turns 6 and 9, buy a Greater Trinket. No Lesser Trinkets appear in this game.
- Marin the Manager is banned from this Anomaly. Guiding Candle, Innkeeper's Hearth, Pagle's Fishing Rod, Bristlebach Portrait, Bronzebeard Portrait, Morgl Portrait, Portable Factory, Poet Portrait, and Surprise Portrait are banned from the Turn 6 Trinket offering.

Minion & Spell Changes (Battlegrounds)
Developer note: This patch focuses on buffing some underperforming minion types and Trinkets (Beasts, Murlocs, Quilboar, Naga, and Menagerie). Changes are generally modest.
Nalaa the Redeemer (Buffed)
Old: 5 Attack / 6 Health. Whenever you cast a Tavern spell, give a friendly minion of each type +2 Attack / +1 Health.
New: 5 Attack / 7 Health. Whenever you cast a Tavern spell, give a friendly minion of each type +3 Attack / +2 Health.
Silky Shimmermoth (Buffed)
Old: 7 Attack / 3 Health. After this gains Attack, your Beetles have +2 Attack / +2 Health this game. Deathrattle: Summon a 2 Attack / 2 Health Beetle.
New: 8 Attack / 3 Health. After this gains Attack, your Beetles have +3 Attack / +2 Health this game. Deathrattle: Summon a 2 Attack / 2 Health Beetle.
Shoalfin Mystic (Adjusted)
Old: [Tier 3] 4 Attack / 4 Health. Battlecry: Your Tavern spells that give stats grant an extra +1 Attack this game.
New: [Tier 5] 5 Attack / 5 Health. Battlecry: Your Tavern spells that give stats grant an extra +1 Attack / +1 Health this game.
Bream Counter (Buffed)
Old: 4 Attack / 3 Health. While this is in your hand, after you play a Murloc, gain +4 Attack / +3 Health.
New: 4 Attack / 4 Health. While this is in your hand, after you play a Murloc, gain +4 Attack / +4 Health.
Felemental (Buffed)
Old: Battlecry: Give minions in the Tavern +1 Attack / +1 Health this game.
New: Battlecry: Give minions in the Tavern +2 Attack / +1 Health this game.
Shifting Tide (Adjusted)
Old: Give a minion +3 Attack / +3 Health. If it's a Naga, give it another +3 Attack / +3 Health.
New: Give a minion +2 Attack / +2 Health twice. If it's a Naga, repeat this.
Additionally, Moon-Bacon Jazzer has been returned to the minion pool.
Lesser Trinket Updates
Wax Imprinter (Adjusted)
Old: At the start of each turn, gain 2 Gold and take 2 damage (if possible).
New: Gain 2 Gold and take 2 damage. At the start of each turn, repeat this (if possible).
Smuggler Portrait (Buffed)
Old: Get a Whelp Smuggler. Set its stats to 4 Attack / 12 Health. Your Whelp Smugglers are Dragons.
New: Get a Whelp Smuggler. Set its stats to 12 Attack / 12 Health. Your Whelp Smugglers are Dragons.
Marvelous Mushroom (Buffed)
Old: Your Tavern spells that give stats grant an extra +0 Attack / +1 Health. At the start of each turn, improve this.
New: Your Tavern spells that give stats grant an extra +0 Attack / +2 Health. At the start of each turn, increase this by +1 Health.
Azeroth Model Globe (Buffed)
Old: At the start of every 2 turns, Discover a Tier 6 minion. (2 turns left!)
New: At the start of every two turns, gain 2 Gold and Discover a Tier 6 minion. (2 turns left!)
Battlecruiser Portrait (Buffed)
Old: Get a 2 Attack / 2 Health Battlecruiser. Whenever the Tavern is Refreshed, add a Battlecruiser Upgrade to it.
New: Get an 8 Attack / 8 Health Battlecruiser. Whenever the Tavern is Refreshed, add a Battlecruiser Upgrade to it.
Implicator Portrait (Buffed)
Old: Get a False Implicator. Your Demons always consume the highest-Health minion in the Tavern.
New: Get 2 False Implicators. Your Demons always consume the highest-Health minion in the Tavern.
Greater Trinket Updates
Recycling Sticker (Buffed)
Old: After you play an Elemental, your next Refresh costs (1) less.
New: After you play an Elemental, gain a free Refresh.
Millhouse Manastorm cannot receive this Trinket.
Nether Pendant (Buffed)
Old: Minions in the Tavern have +1 Attack / +1 Health. Upgrades every 4 times your hero takes damage outside combat. (4 left!)
New: Minions in the Tavern have +1 Attack / +1 Health. Upgrades every 3 times your hero takes damage outside combat. (3 left!)
Lorewalker Scroll (Adjusted)
Old: [0 Gold] Whenever you cast a spell on a minion, give it +5 Attack / +5 Health.

Theotar Sticker (Adjusted)

Bug Fixes and Game Improvements
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Endbringer Umbra would retrigger all Deathrattles granted to Deathrattle minions in her effect.
- [Battlegrounds] Triple Rewards now give a 3-Gold pouch if there are no valid minions to Discover.
- [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Golden Maw Caster’s Battlecry could trigger multiple times with Brann-type effects; it will now only grant 2 Discovers when appropriate.
- [Arena] Fixed a bug where players could receive fewer packs than shown on their Arena rewards screen. Missing packs have been granted; another wave of grants will occur after the final fix goes live.
- [Arena] Fixed a bug where Mystery Dispense-o-bot (from Remixed Dispense-o-bot) wouldn’t grant a secret.
- [Arena] Fixed a bug where Death Knights could be offered unpickable cards outside of their runes during their draft. Players stuck in such a draft will have their run retired and tickets refunded.
- [Arena] Fixed a bug where players who haven't unlocked The Underground could get stuck by spectating an Underground game.
