Patch 34.0 goes live tomorrow. This update starts the countdown to the Across the Timeways expansion, begins a new Arena season, and includes a number of game, Battlegrounds, and Arena updates.
Travel Across the Timeways on November 4
Across the Timeways, Hearthstone’s next expansion, launches on November 4. The set contains 145 cards, introduces the Rewind keyword, and adds Fabled Legendary minions from alternate timelines. Use the in-game Card Library to review the new cards and consider the pre-purchase bundles ahead of launch.
Across the Timeways will also bring a new Rewards Track with XP boosts, cards, Gold, packs, and other rewards.
Pre-Release Tavern Brawl and Community Days
The Across the Timeways Pre-Release Tavern Brawl runs from Patch 34.0 until the expansion launch on November 4. Everyone receives one free entry; additional entries cost 2 Tavern Tickets, 300 Gold, or 400 Runestones. In each run you lock in a deck and play until you reach 6 wins or 3 losses, then receive prizes based on performance.
The eligible card pool for the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl is:
- Across the Timeways
- The Lost City of Un’Goro
- Day of Rebirth Mini-Set
- Core Set
- Event Set
- Note: Dive the Golakka Depths will be banned.
An extended 5-day Community Days event will run alongside the Pre-Release period with creator streams and additional ways to earn packs for the brawl.

- Objective: Finish a Pre‑Release Tavern Brawl run with 6 wins for the Across the Timeways expansion.

Developer note: The team is adjusting Rewind to make it feel snappier in play. Mister Clocksworth has been particularly impactful, so one of his Rewinds is being removed to improve the experience for both players using and facing him. The team plans further Rewind improvements in a later update.

Arena Updates
On October 28, with Patch 34.0, all active Arena runs will end and a new Arena season will begin. The Arena card pool for the new season includes:

- Whizbang's Workshop
* Fabled cards are not included in Arena at launch; they will be added in a future update.
The Underground 12-win reward for this season is the Old Ways Ulfar Hero Skin. After unlocking this skin, subsequent 12-win runs will award 2 Golden Across the Timeways Packs instead. When Across the Timeways releases on November 4, Arena and Underground pack rewards will switch from The Lost City of Un’Goro Packs to Across the Timeways Packs.

Five new Arena achievements tied to Across the Timeways have been added. Each achievement requires completing Part 1 before attempting Part 2.

Across the Timeways Event
From November 4–25, choose one of three hero rewards—Kirin Tor Kel'thuzad; Medivh, Master of Doves; or Stormbringer Magni—to receive their Hero Skin plus 6 Across the Timeways Packs, 3 Lost City of Un'Goro Packs, 2 Into the Emerald Dream Packs, 1 The Great Dark Beyond Pack, and 3 Year of the Pegasus Packs. The two unchosen hero skins will be made available for purchase after the event ends.
Vendor's Bargain Blowout!
Vendor's Bargain Blowout runs from November 25–December 3. Completing event quests can unlock a random unowned Card Back, Coin, and two Hero Skins from past Years (Gryphon, Hydra, and Wolf). If you already own everything in a category, you’ll receive Golden Across the Timeways Packs in place of missing cosmetics.
World Championship Questline and Tavern Brawl
From November 26–December 3, complete the Legendary Questline “To Be a Champion!” to earn the Champion’s Crest 2025 Card Back and 2 Across the Timeways Packs.
During that same period, a special Tavern Brawl will let you play historic World Championship decks restored to their original card lists. Decks include:

Arfus Bounds Into Darkmoon Faire Treasures
Arfus is added as a new interactive Pet available from November 4–25 as one of 10 prizes in the returning Darkmoon Faire Treasures. Arfus reacts to gameplay and gains XP (5 XP per triggering action) to unlock three additional skins: Hound of Menethil, Putrid Pupper, and Helmed Hound.
Actions that grant Arfus XP include (but are not limited to):
- Feeding Arfus a bone treat
- Playing fetch with Frostmourne
- Spending a corpse
- Playing a Lich King card
- Playing a frost spell
- Playing a minion with two types
- Playing an undead minion with 5+ Attack
- A friendly minion dying during your turn or shop phase
- Filling your entire hand with cards
- Summoning a Deathrattle minion
- Summoning an Avenge minion
- Winning a round of combat in Battlegrounds
- Tripling an undead minion in Battlegrounds
- Playing as the Lich King in Battlegrounds

- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Beast Speaker Taka did not trigger its Deathrattle effect after being resummoned.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Hallucination was playable on a full board.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Dissolving Ooze gave max stats instead of current stats.
- [Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where Opu the Unseen failed to resolve minion deaths between the Battlecry and Combo triggers.

- [Battlegrounds] Fixed a bug where Friendly Bouncer did not summon a minion if the hand was full.
- [Pets] Fixed various visual bugs related to Rabbit’ath.
