Patch 35.0.3 is rolling out with updates for Hearthstone, Battlegrounds, and more. Below are the balance changes, Timewarp updates, and bug fixes included in this release.
Hearthstone Updates
Standard Card Changes
Developer note: With CATACLYSM live and Standard rotated, the meta is still stabilizing. This patch reins in several standout cards and gives modest buffs to a few underused archetypes. We’ll continue monitoring how these changes affect play.
Hamuul Runetotem (Nerfed)
- Old: Start of Game: If each spell in your deck is Nature, Imbue your Hero Power. Repeat this every 2 spells you cast.
- New: Start of Game: If each spell in your deck is Nature, Imbue your Hero Power. Repeat this every 3 spells you cast.

Crystalspine Cub (Nerfed)
- Old: 1 Attack / 2 Health.
- New: 1 Attack / 1 Health.

Wildwood Circle (Nerfed)

Developer note: Druid has been very prominent in the early meta. These adjustments aim to reduce Druid’s dominance across both early- and late-game lines.
Skywall Sentinel (Nerfed)
- Old: 0 Attack / 3 Health.
- New: 0 Attack / 2 Health.

Flight of the Firehawk (Nerfed)
- Old: Draw two minions of different minion types. Give them +2 Attack / +2 Health.
- New: Draw two minions of different minion types. Give them +1 Attack / +1 Health.

Developer note: Shaman remains strong; these smaller reductions help keep the class balanced without heavy disruption.

Wild Card Changes
Lightspeed (Nerfed)

- New: Echo. Give a minion +1 Attack / +2 Health and Rush.
- Developer note: Lightspeed now uses Echo to avoid zero-cost or otherwise abusive repeat interactions.

Astral Communion (Nerfed)

- Developer note: A small increase to slow a ramp line that had become too consistent while keeping the deck identity intact.

Grand Magister Rommath (Nerfed)
- Old: Battlecry: Recast each spell you've cast this game that didn't start in your deck.
- New: Battlecry: Recast each spell you've cast this game that didn't start in your deck. (Once per game)
- Developer note: Limited to once-per-game to reduce repetitive, frustrating loops in Wild.


Battlegrounds Updates
Developer note: This is the final major balance patch of the season. The approach here is lighter: we nerfed a couple of overperformers and buffed several tribes and Timewarped cards to keep the meta varied. We also restored two Anomalies players missed.
- Metal Dispenser and Silky Shimmermoth receive nerfs.
- Dragons, Pirates, Murlocs, and Elementals get modest buffs.
- Timewarped pool and text updates focus on removing underperformers and clarifying effects.

- You can now play Health-cost cards that require more health than you currently have if Arisen Onyxia is active.
Battlegrounds
- Fixed a missing comma in Timewarped Painter's English text.
- Fixed a bug with Power of the Storm where it could offer Rune of Damnation while you were Tier 1.

HSLeaderboard note: These changes should shift some ladder and tavern dynamics—Druid and certain Battlegrounds overperformers were targeted, while a handful of archetypes and Timewarped cards received small boosts.
