The Dream City Trial Cards period ends when Escape from Violet Hold launches on July 7. Blizzard outlined the free rewards, Catch-Up Packs, events, and Shop offers available to help players keep building their collections after the trial period wraps up.
Catch-Up Packs After Trial Cards
Catch-Up Packs can include up to 50 cards in a single pack, depending on how many eligible cards are already in your collection. Blizzard notes that results vary by collection progress.
Free Catch-Up Packs
- Catch-Up Pack #1: Log in any time after Escape from Violet Hold launches on July 7. Available until Patch 36.4.
- Catch-Up Pack #2: Earned through the Violet Hold in-game event from July 7 – 28 by completing event missions and checking event progress.
Community Events and Drops
Community events include creator streams and reward drops. Blizzard lists free packs from Escape from Violet Hold, Into the Emerald Dream, and The Lost City of Un’Goro among the available drops.
- Twitch Drops window: June 9 - July 4.
- Rewards: Up to 15 packs from Escape from Violet Hold, The Lost City of Un’Goro, and Into the Emerald Dream.

- Rewards: Dalaran Warden Maiev Rogue Hero Skin, 2x Commissary Crook in Golden and regular versions, 2x Deadly Bribe in Golden and regular versions, 3x Escape from Violet Hold Packs, 1x CATACLYSM Pack, and 2x Tavern Tickets.
- How to obtain: Complete event quests for “Lockdown!”
- Availability: June 16 - July 7.
Collector Achievement Rewards
- Signature cards: 2x Signature Breakout Architect Rare Card and 2x Signature Judgment Epic Card.
- How to obtain: Complete the corresponding Escape from Violet Hold Legendary Collector achievements.
- Breakout Architect achievement: Collect 15 different Escape from Violet Hold Legendary cards.
- Judgment achievement: Collect 27 different Escape from Violet Hold Legendary cards.
- Availability: Starting June 30.
Dalaran Coin Achievement
- Reward: Dalaran Coin.
- How to obtain: Complete the “I’m Putting Together a Team” achievement by collecting 135 different Escape from Violet Hold cards.

Pre-Release Tavern Brawl Trial Commons
- Reward: Free trial copies of all Common cards from Escape from Violet Hold for the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl.
- Rules: Only Escape from Violet Hold cards can be used in the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl. You can also use additional cards opened from Escape from Violet Hold packs.
- Important note: Trial Common Cards are only available for this event and are not permanently added to your collection.

Pre-Release Tavern Brawl Achievement Rewards
- Escape from Violet Hold Pre-Release Champion: Finish an Escape from Violet Hold Pre-Release Tavern Brawl run with 6 wins to earn 2x Tavern Tickets and 1x Escape from Violet Hold Pack.
- Escape from Violet Hold Pre-Release Pro: Go undefeated, 6-0, in the Escape from Violet Hold Pre-Release Tavern Brawl to earn the Jailbreak Brawler Card Back.

- Reward: Myth of the Scarab Card Back.
- How to obtain: Complete the “Myth of the Scarab” achievement by reaching Legend rank six separate times during the Year of the Scarab across Standard and Wild.
